Main directions: physical parameters of stars and star formation, physical conditions, chemical composition of stellar atmospheres and circumstellar disks, the study of the gasdynamics disks and envelopes of binary stars, a study of the evolution of star clusters and clusters of galaxies, the origin of stars and planets, the study of planets and exoplanets.
